The Team


The intern role will be working directly with both of GP Bullhound’s U.S. teams in New York and San Francisco with the possibility of working on cross-border deals alongside any of our 12 offices across Europe.


Your Role


The role offers the opportunity to work with the investment banking team on an array of technology focused transactions across our focus sectors including software (enterprise & consumer subscription), digital services, fintech, digital media, and marketplaces/e-commerce.


Your Responsibilities


  • Assisting the execution of M&A and advisory transactions across their entire cycle including the preparation of pitches, marketing materials and financial models, executing ad-hoc deal tasks and supporting due diligence
  • You will work on several projects simultaneously with all members of the deal team, including Managing Directors, Vice Presidents, Associates, and Analysts collaborating to develop and execute solutions to meet client needs
  • Preparing and delivering client presentations including confidential information memoranda and management presentations amongst other workstreams
  • Drafting of valuation and financial modeling & analysis


Job requirements


Your Experience

  • Previous internship experience from investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or venture capital is highly desirable
  • Passion for technology demonstrable through past work experience, extracurriculars and personal interest
  • Strong technical, quantitative and analytical skills within financial analysis and accounting
  • Formidable communication skills, both written and verbal, with an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Suite, with an emphasis on Excel and a high level of attention to detail
