Job description
Marketing Manager / Senior Manager
London
Permanent
Who We Are
GP Bullhound is a leading technology advisory firm, providing transaction advice and capital to the world’s best entrepreneurs and founders. Founded in 1999 in London and Menlo Park, the firm today has 12 offices spanning Europe, the US and Asia. For more information, please visit www.gpbullhound.com.
Your Role
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Marketing Manager / Senior Manager to supercharge the visibility of our Investment Banking business. Based in London, you will partner directly with senior leadership to sharpen our message, expand our media footprint, and drive high-impact campaigns that position us as the go-to advisor in the global mid-market.
This is a role for a force of nature — a strategic communicator who can shape the narrative, build relationships with top-tier press, and turn social media into a stage for thought leadership and deal success.
Responsibilities
Define and execute a bold communications strategy that raises the firm’s profile across global markets.
Lead PR efforts: cultivate relationships with financial and business media, secure high-quality coverage, and manage press engagement around transactions and insights.
Own social media presence: drive sharp, consistent content across LinkedIn and other relevant channels to amplify the firm’s voice and engage target audiences.
Develop high-visibility thought leadership campaigns that highlight sector expertise and reinforce credibility with clients, investors, and stakeholders.
Partner with senior bankers on speeches, panels, and industry events to position the firm and its leaders as influential voices.
Oversee creation of compelling marketing collateral (videos, newsletters, deal announcements) with a focus on speed, polish, and impact.
Track and report on communications performance, ensuring continuous improvement and measurable results.
Job requirements
Your Experience
Significant marketing/communications experience within M&A or corporate finance advisory boutiques is strongly preferred; experience in private equity or other financial services will also be considered.
Proven track record of securing meaningful PR coverage and shaping narratives in tier-one media outlets.
Expertise in leveraging social media — especially LinkedIn — to drive engagement and visibility at scale.
Strong network of media contacts in financial and business press (or the ability to build one rapidly).
Demonstrated success in running thought leadership and content campaigns with measurable business impact.
Exceptional communication, writing, and stakeholder management skills — confident working directly with senior leadership and external press.
Entrepreneurial, energetic, and proactive mindset: thrives on creating impact, not just managing processes.
